Legos
The process of the worlds favorite toy!
About The Lego
"The name 'LEGO' is an abbreviation of the two Danish words "leg godt", meaning "play well". It’s our name and it’s our ideal.
The LEGO Group was founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Kristiansen. The company has passed from father to son and is now owned by Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen, a grandchild of the founder.
It has come a long way over the past almost 80 years - from a small carpenter’s workshop, with low quality wooden pieces, to a modern, global enterprise that is now one of the world’s largest manufacturers of toys."

Next, the melted plastic is pushed into high quality molds for about 10 seconds to form.
Once the plastic has been molded, it is cooled down,
And ejected into a bin containing all the other Legos produced by the same mold.
This rapid process allows the Lego company to produce 4.7 million bricks every hour!
Once the bin is filled, a robot comes to pick it up and transport it to the storage area.
After the Lego building process is complete, the proper amount and type of Lego bricks are collected and packaged into building kits, and sent out to sellers worldwide!
